Technical Advisory Committees, composed of resource personnel from state, federal, and local organizations meet to discuss key resource issues for the Upper Sevier River watershed. |
A new watershed management plan, which will guide the Upper Sevier Watershed for the next several years, is currently underway. Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) involved in determining key issues within the watershed have met for hydrology, species and habitat, human uses, vegetation, and fire. Input from the agriculture TAC committee is lacking; however, it is expected that all key issues will be identified by mid-April. Key issues and related maps for all six watersheds and subwatersheds within the Upper Sevier River watershed are expected to be completed by Fall 2003.
The Draft Management Plan is available on the Dixie National Forest web site.

Each of the 9 subwatersheds within the Upper Sevier River Watershed will be reviewed and evaluated to establish priority resource issues.
