Detailed Overview and Analysis of Web Site Template
During the on site workshops, Mountain Visions first gave a one hour digital presentation to the participants using a data projector, larger screen and sound system. Mountain Visions also gave similar presentations in all of the watersheds using a laptop computer during visits to each watershed. These were held in watershed partner offices and in the field during the photography visits to each of the watersheds now represented on the Interactive Watershed map. These demonstrations showed the various design and interactive elements being produced for the Interactive Watersheds and the Upper Sevier River Community Watershed Project web sites. The Upper Sevier watershed committed time and funds to this project at an early stage. Consequently, it became the prototype for developing the interactive watershed web site template.
The Upper Sevier has continued to commit funds, photography, story organization and writing development, written narratives and resource link development. As a result, this is the most comprehensive Interactive Watershed web site available as of the beginning of 2003.
For this workshop, we will create links only to the Upper Sevier Site for detailed examples of web site production features.
You can see a description of how each of the main template pages were made by clicking on the links below. Each of these page descriptions will contain links to bring up the actual graphical web page being described for a graphic and visual view of the web site production features.
