Project Monitoring white space

The Upper Sevier River Community Watershed Project would like to encourage local residents, community members and organizations to participate in watershed monitoring programs. Potential projects include monitoring forest, rangeland, and riparian vegetation, wildlife populations, and the chemical, biological, and physical properties of stream and rivers (water quality).

The long-term goal of our monitoring program is to gather basic information on the biological and physical components of local watershed ecosystems and to share that information with community members, schools, local agencies, other organizations and decision makers.

The Upper Sevier River Community Watershed Project will provide professional assistance to help you or your organization get started. We offer services to groups and the public, including specialized training, reference documents and protocols.

If you are interested in assisting, please contact Wally Dodds, Watershed Coordinator at 435-676-1155 or email dodds@scinternet.net.
