Mammoth Creek is a fly fishermans haven, supporting both a population of wild brown trout as well as a population of wild brook trout. Although the majority of Mammoth creek flows through private land, the upper end of Mammoth Creek flows through lands administered by the Dixie National Forest and contains some public access. Near the upper end of the stream, hatchery rainbow trout are stocked in the vicinity of the summer home area below Mammoth Springs. |
