Casto Canyon is a part of the Claron formations that also form Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park. Ranchers from Panguitch once used this route to Big Valley, but now this same trail is frequented by hikers, bicyclists and ATV enthusiasts. Although it is easy to get lost in the canyon’s spectacular scenery, stop, look and listen, for the unique plants and animals that inhabit this rugged country.
