Downstream from the BLM property lies a section of the Utah Division of Wildlife resources property. During 2000 and 2001, approximately 3,500 feet of stream channel was restored by stabilizing banks with rocks and native plants and recreating stream "meanders." In addition, other sections were narrowed to restore deeper fish habitat. River birch can be seen along the stream's edge, and large amounts of sagebrush and rabbitbrush make this a favorite spot for rattlers!
