Pine Lake Spawning Channel
A 26-unit U.S. Forest Service campground, ATV trails and a sport fishery make Pine Lake a popular summer recreation spot. In 1988 a pipeline diverting water from Clay Creek helped provide oxygen to the lake and now fish overwinter, creating additional recreational opportunities. Recently, the pipeline was further developed and water diverted into a 600-ft spawning channel to facilitate natural recruitment of native Bonneville cutthroat trout.
