Yellow Jacket Aspen Exclosure

Aspen regeneration does not occur in some areas because of browsing by wildlife and/or livestock. This site is now fenced and closely monitored to determine the effects of livestock grazing on seedling establishment and growth. It may be necessary to exclude livestock and wildlife until aspen seedlings have reached an age when they will not longer be susceptible to damage from browsing and grazing.
