Mike Tebbs received funding under the Wyden amendment to replace his water diversion system on Butler Creek (bordering the Dixie National Forest), resulting in a marked reduction in erosion and downcutting. Students from Panguitch Elementary School planted willows and cottonwoods along the creek. Mr. Tebbs installed three water temperature gauges in the creek to monitor improvements, and installed fencing and tube gates to control movement of cattle through riparian corridors.
