The Upper Sevier River Watershed is important to local communities for recreation as well as commodity production. In addition, people from urban areas such as the Wasatch Front and Las Vegas use the watershed for a variety of recreational purposes. As people traverse the watershed to hike, ATV, fish, hunt, camp or sightsee, ideally, there would be something for everyone. Maintaining quality recreational opportunities while emphasizing resource restoration, requires recognition that all products and services cannot be provided on all areas. Working together as partners individuals, communities, agencies, and organizations is a significant step towards maintaining recreational values and becoming stewards to the diverse plant and animal communities within the Upper Sevier River Watershed.
